ELECTRICAL WORKSHOP
This laboratory imparts practical knowledge to the students about the household wiring, winding of transformers and machines. It also facilitates the study of energy conservation and safety in electrical systems. This lab is equipped with power tools like range finder, digital live wire detector, megger, single phase auto transformer, etc.,

ELECTRICAL MACHINES LAB
This laboratory imparts knowledge about characteristics and behavior of the DC and AC Machines. This is the core lab for Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch and ancillary lab for other branches. The Electrical Machines Lab is equipped with major equipment like D.C Motor- generator set 1F and 3F conventional transformers, D.C. motor – alternator set, 1F and 3F induction motors, 1F and 3F auto-transformers, 3F synchronous motors, DC rectifier and distribution panels.

CONTROL SYSTEM LAB
Control System Lab introduces fundamental control systems theory that emphasizes on design and implementation to the students. Design and implementation of this course is done using MATLAB software with control system toolbox to do the experiment in open loop and closed loop system. The lab is well furnished with the equipment like AC and DC Servomotor, 8085 Microprocessor Trainer Kit, Synchros, Position control system, Controller design kit. The lab provides facility to analyze the stability of the system using MATLAB software.

MEASUREMENTS AND INSTRUMENTATION LAB
This laboratory imparts knowledge to find unknown resistance, inductance and capacitance through various bridge circuits. This lab is equipped with various equipment like Instrumentation Amplifier module, Digital IC Trainer Kit, ADC 8 channel stand-alone module, DAC stand-alone module, etc.

POWER ELECTRONICS LAB
This lab throws light on the techniques of designing and building power electronics circuits. It consists of all power electronic converters, DSP and FPGA based DC and AC Drives, Digital Integrated kits, etc., and different kinds of demo kits such as SCR characteristics, study kit for D.C motor control using chopper.

POWER SYSTEM SIMULATION LAB
This lab is well equipped with licensed MATLAB software comprising tool boxes like Neural Network, Fuzzy logic, Control System, Power System etc., which integrates the mathematical computing visualization and a powerful language to provide a flexible environment for technical computing.

POWER ELECTRONICS AND DRIVES LAB
The main focus of the laboratory is on the measurement and control of electric drives. The laboratory is equipped with power electronic converters required for driving DC and DC machines. The laboratory also includes Personal computers for the simulation and control of special machine drives using Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) boards.In electrical drives laboratory, students learn to deal with all kinds of electrical machine-drives and required subsystems.
